Steps Image Video Duration
Take your Background Cardstock piece 4" x 12" and score it at 2", 4", 8", 10" Step Image 00:00:00
Score that same Base piece in an X pattern from the center (6") to the 2" score mark on BOTH sides Step Image 00:00:00
Fold up the card into the awesome pattern by first folding in the vertical score lines, then flip OVER the card and fold in the slanted score lines. Finish by pinching in the Xs. It's easiest to just watch the attached video (it's only 90 seconds). 00:00:00
Adhere the two edge designer paper pieces to the outside panel. 1 3/4" x 3 3/4". And the center 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" piece. Step Image 00:00:00
Take your 3 3/4" square pieces and cut them in half to form a triangle. Cut the triangles into two triangles (using the center point as a guide). This is the right size for the large sections of your diamond accordion. Adhere to the large sections! 00:00:00
The triangles that you made from the previous step, cut once more into equal triangles makes the correct size for the last triangular panels. Adhere to the small triangle sections! You should end up with a large triangle left over. That is expected. Step Image 00:00:00
Decorate the front of your card with whatever design you like. Here is an idea with a stripped hidden pattern and a cute little girl! Finished card will be 4" x 4". Step Image 00:00:00
